I just wanted to take a moment to let you know what has been going on behind the scenes here at 3k Associates. Its really is hard to believe how quickly our business has been growing and I just wanted to say thank you to all of our customers, new and old. We couldn’t do it without you.
We have grown a new division called Springfield Cyberlink that will service our web clients exclusively. The division will manage the Internet publications and continue to specialize in making small to medium sized business look big on the Internet. I will personally manage the division and look forward to working with all of you to get the most out of your Internet publications.
During the month of September we were busy preparing to move offices and I am glad to say we made it. On October 1, our address changed from suite 205 to suite 500. Please make a note of this change for snail mail correspondence. With our brand new offices comes a great view (since we are now on the top floor), three times the office space, new phone systems, new desks, new computers and most importantly a faster Internet connection. That’s right we have upgraded our Internet connection to a fiber optic T1 line and now run all our web servers off of it. That doubles the size of our Internet pipe and has noticeably increased the response time of our Web servers. There will be no increase in our monthly hosting fees as a result. In fact we have reduced our basic rate for our dedicated domain web clients. If you are a dedicated domain customer your bill will reflect this price change immediately.
We are currently working on a new bundle approach to services that will include a Web site, Internet e-mail exchange using your own domain and dial-up Internet connectivity exclusively for our clients. We are proposing offering dedicated dial ups where a client would have exclusive use of a phone line and modem to connect to the Internet. This means unlimited, 7 day a week, 24 hour a day access with no chance of receiving a busy signal. This eliminates the need to go to an Internet connectivity provider for your business to get on the net. I will keep you posted as we progress with these and other programs.
Another time and money saving idea we have come up with is a 10% discount for payment in advance for any service for 12 months. That’s 10% off any web service, any mail setup and any maintenance contract. This is designed to save us and our customers time and money by reducing paper work on both ends and allows all of us to concentrate more on our the business and less on the paper work.
